Job Description

- Weekly Gross Rate: $1980 @ $55/hr
Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - (RRT) Pediatrics - A pediatric RRT, also known as a pediatric respiratory therapist, work with patients experiencing pulmonary disorders or complications.
Requirements/Preferred:
- No floating required
- 2+ year experience
- First-timers are accepted
- BLS
- RRT certification must be in hand at time of start, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Certification/Licenses accepted: NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider)
- Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience
- Local at 60 miles radius rule
- All RTO must be included at time of submission.
- Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma
- Total Staffed Beds: 865
- Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
- Charting: Epic
**Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.**

Request Time Off (RTO) is due at the time of submission.
- Local Rule: MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first. The radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at the local rate

Previous perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.

South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission – please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.
